Job Monitoring - quick configuration step solman 7.1?

Dear,

I want to monitor same job in solman 7.1 sp5 and need information for a quick guide business process monitoring.

My solman has a connection to our ERP system and I run the setup for business process operation. Also the jobs

are imported in the job documentation.

In the help guide for solman 7.1 sp1, I found

•   You have modified your business processes in the solution directory (transaction SOLMAN_DIRECTORY) of SAP Solution Manager.
•   You have assigned a business process to the job documentation and have set up and activated business process monitoring for this process.

Could someone describe me, which step I have to configured in the transaction solution:directory? We need only a minimal step for job monitoring.

it is like, you first move all your business processes from project to solution_directory, then go ahead with the steps mentioned in help.sap

Thank you for your information, but we don't have defined business process in a project. So I only want defined one buiness process with my job definition. What have I do (like a best practice)? All documentation explain only the envrioment for business monitoring.

Hi,

I found my solution. For job monitoring I need to defined a dummy solution, a dummy business scenario, a dummy business process and a dummy business process step, without any transaction or monitor objects.

Now, I'm happy.
