Hi Ravi Kiran:

Create a new variable called "User Entered Number" with datatype as Number and value as 1.

Create an Input Control for the same, make it as Entry Field and Operator Equal to.

Create a new variable to store the multiplied value with formula in that as [Value To Be Multiplied] * [User Entered Number]

Drag this variable into the report and voila! you are done!

Having fun with webi! - Itz all I wanted to do!

P.S. => You will need to go to Input Control to enter a different number there... your default number would be 1!

Hi Ravi,

In Design mode, go to Data Access, under that you will find New Variable.  Click on it and create the variable "User Entered Number"

Input control is available under Analysis tab.

To create a variable for multiplied value, you will need to once again create a New Variable.

Just explore the interface, that should help.
