Cost and Revenue Planning weekwise

Hi Experts,

My requirement is to plan cost on weekly basis same is for revenue.

But as per standard SAP CJR2 transaction code i am only getting periodic planning that is monthwise planning. Is there any settings in config i need to configure so that i can perform the planning weekly.

Hi

I know monthly planning is the standard practice but our client's requirement is somewhat diffierent because their cost estimate data is sent by their regional project mannagers on weekly basis they don't have the visiblity of the estimate for the full month.

Revenue calculation is a bit simple the total project fees/no of working weeks

e.g. if 5000 is the total project fees and no. of week by which project must complete is 5 then revenue per week is 5000/5= 1000 per week. For revenue i can enter full month data and during reporting i can use customized logic to show it on weekly basis.

If i can go for customization then i have to first design the screens for cost & revenue planning having start date end date and then entire reporting will be also impacted. This will be a big customization. Is there anything we can do in ECP ?

Our project strucutre is very simple we are having WBS only no network & activities.

create another planning layout for a week and access via CJR2

issue will be to accommodate 52 weeks

this is not a good idea - usually monthly is the way to go

Even though you create layout, how will the reporting possible? You will also need to customize the reports accordingly.
