QM-PP configuration tips required

Dear All,

I m new in SAP, i created master data, production version , recipe and all related PP data.

Now i want to assign a QM in PP.

So required your tips step by step  how to do ?

Hi..

Can you please elaborate what exactly do you mean that you want to assign QM in PP ?

1.If you mean that you want quality inspection at Inprocess stage then assing Inspection poit in routing, assign inspection charachteristics for each operation in routing ( If required)  and activate '03 ' Inspection type in Material master.

2. If you want inspection lot to be generated after confirmation to production order then generate task list and assign inspection type '04' to the material.

Hi Anand, You posted to the BPM space which is not going to help you get an answer... try the QM space instead. I've move it there.
