I am facing one error with batch specific unit. Want to validate whether this issue can be resolved-
Configuration is maintained for Batch specific UoM
Material Master is created with following details-
a. Base unit KG
b. Alternate unit PC
c. Batch specific UoM : KGP ( KG/PC)
Maintained characteristics with : KGP and assign to Class which is assigned to material master.
Transactions are as below-
1. Stock maintained with unit of entry as PC and batch specific unit as KGP. System is showing stock in both KG and PC
2. Sales Order is created with UoM as KG
3. When we are trying to pick material in PC system is preventing with a error message-
Proportion/Product unit of measure PC invalid for item 900001
Message No : VL382
It appears that it is quite normal process that I sell it in KG although I want to do PGI in PC.
Anybody experienced this earlier? Can you kindly suggest it is standard system issue or I missed something in config/data maintenance?
