Description of Service Item

Hi

I am on SRM5.0.

When ordering Services (free text shopping cart) I enter the description of the service.

After I go to the details of the shopping cart I can see the additional information Description of service item. The text there is simply "Service Item".

Is there a way to enhance this. Let's say I want to copy the Description entered in the shopping cart into the Description of the service Item?

Hi Mariusz,

We have done the similar thing via BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI. We have implemented with logic to check if Product type as "Service" then copy the description what is entered by requester to Description of Service item. This BADI calls during document saving.
