QAC3: Reset sample

Hi experts.

It was made Goods Receipt Inspection lot.

But, Inspection characteristics were missing for Inspect with Material Specification(QS61).

So, first T-code: QAC3 was running reset sample.

After check 'Insp. with mat spec' in MM02 and Material Specification assign and save in QS61.

Last T-code: QA02  'Task list/spec.'  button pushed in 'Insp.Specifications' tab.

'Insp. with mat spec.' checkbox was not checked.

What problem?? How to check it??

If i'm following what you are doing, you are trying to fix an exisitng inspection.  Once that inspection lot has been created, changes to the inspection type settings in the material master will not affect it.  The lot is what it is.  It is a lot that can only be inspected with an inspection plan.

Any NEW lots should reflect the correction you have made in the material master.

For the exisiting lot you should create a one-time use plan to inspect it as desired.  Assign it and update the lot with it.  Once the lot is in RELstatus you can go and block the inspection plan and remove the material assignment from it so it doesn't mess up any future lots.

'insp with mat spec' was not selected. So, material specification characteristics that are not assigned, Goods Receipt Inspection lot was made.

How to assign material specification characteristics in Inspection lot?

hi..

I think there is check for both inspection with task list and  material specification are available for the material.

Please check. please remove check for inspection with task list in material master.
