Portal CI not coming up though the DB is up and running.

Hi All,

We have done Enterprise Portal 7.3 distributed system installation. We are using AIX 7.1 and DB2 9.7. The installtion was succesful. But when we tried restarting the system, database is coming up. When we try starting the central instance, it says db must be started 1st. But the db is up and running. Please do suggest as what has to be done so that the CI comes up.

Hope you are doing good.

Please do a complete restart of the server (mention the exact time of the restart) and check the latest logs in the below folders for more analysis:

/usr/sap/<SID>/work/ dev*, std* and jvm*

/usr/sap/<SID>/JC<nr>/j2ee/cluster/server0/logs/default trace (latest).

Its that now i am not able to shut down the DB. All the instances are shut down and there is no process running. But still Db ain't shutting down.
