Sp3 -> Sp5

All,

We recently upgraded BO from SP3 to SP5.

We are facing aggregation issue in a particular report while using "Sum" in the formula.

We are seeing difference in values between Sp3 and Sp5. Can anyone suggest us here whether this is bug with SP5.

Regards,
Aruna

Hi Aruna,

  • Which types of reports are you using,  Crystal Reports?
  • If yes, which type of formulas,  Running Totals? Manual Running Totals?  Group Footer Totals?
    • If you have both SP3 and SP5 (Crystal Reports and BOE) environments,  try scheduling the report with same parameters or at the same time in BOE.
    • Compare the reports that were generated in each environment in InfoView.
    • Additionally, open the BOE SP3 report in Crystal Reports SP5;  and vice versa.  Do they display different values?

Please add additional information that may help to identify where you're seeing a difference.

Aruna,

1. Have you checked other reports than this particular copy which has issues with SUM?

2. If it is noticed only with one report, then try creating sample report with similar query and then check.

Also, I'm not sure if any of such bugs has been hilighted; still let me check and come back to you.
