BPS Data Locking

Hi,

I am running into very strange things on data locking. I configured 2 multi-areas looking at the same single areas. Funtion modules from the white paper "How to...variable of type exit" are being used to derive the profit center and cost center.

In area 1, users have no locking problems at all. In area 2, with exactly the same config and same FM looking at the same table, 1 user is able to block everybody.

When I look at UPC_ENQUEUE_READ, the data that is locked using eithr area is in the same pattern. Only 1 cost center or profit center is locked. When multiple users are logged in, they are locking different data sets.

What else could be causing this?
