Configuration error in document splitting;posting not possible

at the time of miro for service po which has the down payment , there is an error 'Configuration error in document splitting;posting not possible'.

what are the possible reasons for this and how can we rectify this issue?

Kindly check Standard settings of document spiliting

Check clasify gl accounts for document spiliting

check Zero balance maintained or not

Check characterstics for g/l ledger as well as controlling.

Hi,

   Kindly check whether you have assigned your G/L accounts in Classify G/L Accounts for Document Splitting

  Also check Item Categories & Document Types which are used for Document Splitting

yes, i have checked. GL account and document type is assigned.
