Problems installing Netweaver Gateway developer tool for Visual Studio

I am running W7 Professional and have Visual Studio Ultimate 2012 installed.

When I try to install the Netweaver Gateway developer tool for Visual Studio, I receive the message "The installation requires Visual Studio 2010 or higher" and the installation quits.

Why won't this tool install on my computer? It certainly seems to meet the requirements.

    Hi Wardell,

In addition to the Visual Studio version verification, the installation also verifies that you have the C# component installed. Can you check that?

Note that the recent version of the tool was published before Visual Studio 2012 was available so you might experience other issues.

    Thanks,

    Guy

      Guy,

Yes, in fact I had several C# solutions developed using VS 2012. I uninistalled VS2012 and installed VS2010 and now it works. Apparently the statement "VS2010 or higher" isn't true. Apparently it has to be exactly VS2010.
