Hi All,

I have been trying to open an Infopackage and it takes more than 5 minutes to open some of the Infopackages that we have.

Does anyone know on what performance i need to check?

Thank you.

Norie

Looks like, its not applicatin issue, its system issue, your Basis team can help you.

You can track the time consuming statement in ST05 System Trace and provide the information to Basis.

You need to check the size of Data base through  T-code db02

Data base used not more  90 % . if used database size more then 90 % server give the bad performance.

Than contact to basis term .

And also check the work process status wait/running  condition  through sm50 . if work process is running stage that means sever is busy to perform some other task. N wait status that means resource are free .

Thanks and regards

Hi Norie,

Kindly ask your Basis team to check and clear the Archive Logs, and free the background process if full.

Hi Norie,

Daily archiving is a Basis activity. You do not need to know it as an BI consultant. Only thing is you need to convey this to your Basis, for them to check.
