actual costs not settled completely (PP)

Hello,

for stock production we use the valuated stock.

I have the following issue in production (for this example just material costs):

component 1:    100 Euro

component 2:    200 Euro

finished Item:     stock before production:    1.000 pcs at 1.000 Euro (may have been an initial migration value) => 1 EUR/pc

=> A production order with 100 + 200 = 300 actual costs (of the components) now gets settled "telling" the system

that we have one more item of the finished good in stock.

However: The system settled 1 EUR to the finished good and 299 to price differences.

What must I do so that SAP settles also the 299 "at actual" to the item (and thus updates the moving average price)?

All items are valuated items, we do not have product cost planning in place.

Thanks a lot for your help

Thomas

Thomas,

Please try this in a test environment:

  1. Reverse the settlement, variance calculation
  2. Post a reversal GR (102) movement to the production order
  3. Change the MAP of the material using MR21 to the correct price (EUR 300???)
  4. Post a GR (101)
  5. Calculate variance, post settlement

You have MAP for a Finished Good?

Good luck!

Cheers,
