Automatic updation of User Status

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement that User Status should update automatically as soon as we do TECO of Service Order.

I believe this can be done via FM - STATUS_TEXT_EDIT, but I am not sure which configuration to be maintained for this.

I understand we need to create User Status profile with required statues, and status profile to be attached to the required order type.

But what will automatically call User status with TECO?

Kindly suggest.

Thank you

    hi

i think you are asking to change the user status of the order to change automatically once the order is TECO , if that is the case there is no need for user exit,

you can maintain the settings in the user status profile itself, just select which user status to be applied and double click the same , in the new screen mark SET for TECO of the order

      Hi Thya,

I'll check your response in system and will revert.

      Hi Pete,

Yes, its about service order User Status.

Requirement > As soon as Order is created the User status will appear as NEW automatically, and finally when we close (TECO) the service order, USER STATUS will automatically updated as ZCLD.

Thank you for your quick response.
