Maintenance Strategy - Order Genaration

Hi

In IP11 I have created Maintenance Strategy for Order to generate 1M 4M 6M.

When the Strategy Plan is scheduled Order is getting generated every month (2nd and 3rd month also) and for 4 m and 6m

I would like to have the Order generated only on 1M and then on the 4M and 6M.

Suggestion pls...

Hi Venkat ,

I am not in front of system but try with 3 line each with cycle length 6 months .

First line will have offset 1

2nd wil have offset 4 .

check the packg seq to verify the logic .

the setting you have specified is for one time scheduling only ,it will only generate monthly,4 month and 6 months only. for next year you need to create another maintenance plan

I checked for the same for 2 Years, but the Order was generated for 1 Year only. You are correct. So I should create every year a new plan. Correct ?

yes you need to create new plan every year or restart the old one

strategy is used for repeated operation to be performed at frequent interval say every 1 month, every 4 months extra. if you want to create the order on 1st ,4th and 6th month only its not possible either you have to check with user exit it is possible
