Service order extractor and link to sales order

Dear experts,

I have a requirement to get the service order cost and link service order to the sales order.

Is there any standard datasource contain such information? especially the link between service order and sales order. In ECC we use AUFK-KDAUF = VBRP-VBGEL to link from service order to billing, but I could not find any service order datasource contain field KDAUF.

Another question is, for CO datasource, is it ok to first load to a DSO and then to a cube, or should I directly load from datasource to infocube?

Preferably load first to DSO (store the most detailed information, i.e. Line Item level) and then to the InfoCube (summarized).

The design of the process depends on the design model, one has chosen, i.e. Layered Scalable Architectuire (LSA), or Bill Inmon's Corporate Information Factory (CIF) model, etc.. There was on SCN a while ago (circa 2009), some blogs by Juergen Haupt on the LSA topic.
