Selection input ignored in BEx

Hi,

I am working on an issue where a test user is testing a query in BEx. The query uses a standard SAP variable for the company code hierarchy. They select a company code (UM12) in the selection screen and in the trace I see it is checking for a completely different company code (UM04) and is not authorized. When running the query itself through RSRT it works.... but running through BEx workbook it does not.

We have tried replacing the variable and clearing the cache. There is no replacement variable. There is nothing personalized in the selection screen. The same variable works in another query. We are not using virtual providers.

Does anyone have ideas?

    Hello,

The query is in the workbbok. May be some macro are active in the workbook and the macro may be Influencing the selection screen variable.

May be you recreate new workbook and chekc the results.

    Thanks.

    Hi Michael,

Please confirm/check that the variable (Company Code) that you are using for selection is authorization relevant variable.

    Regards,
