Using a User Decision step for a workflow displayed is SAP Business Client

Hi all,

I have a Workflow definition which has a User Decision Step in it. I create an instance of this workflow and try to launch the user decision step of workflow from my Business Workflow Workplace in SAP Business Client but no dialog for choosing a decision is displayed, I receive an HTTP 403 error. Is there a generic WebDynpro ABAP component for User Decision steps to be called from SAP Business Client?Must I program myself a user decision step? Thanks.

Kind Regards

Sukru

    Hi Sukru,

You need not program the user decision step as Workflow is a tool which is ready to used with such step types.

To get to choose between options of Approve and Reject, you need to define them in the workflow definition. In the User Decision step --> Tab Decision - you'll find Decision Options. Give values to Decision Texts & Outcome Name in Decision Options and whatever you give to Decision Texts will appear in you Business Workplace (SBWP) after execution of the workflow.

    Thanks,

    Hi Anubhav,

I am asking about Business Client Inbox not SBWP, in SBWP it is clear that the UI is displayed automatically. In Business Client you have a browser based UI.

    Kind Regards
