    Hi,

Are you talking about inbound delivery, if so please refer SAP note # 1050944 for details about this error.

    Regards

    Vijay

We have checked the SAP code and the errors are hard coded in

      BORWE_VL_MM_CHECK_ASN_WE

So I guess we cannot do a partial receipt to an inbound in MIGO in the future.

Please check both the OSS note and the program code more carefully... - the message type for message VLA312 is not hard-coded...

      1) OSS note 1050944:

      ...
If you do not make any further settings, the system reacts accordingly with error messages. If you do not want error message, you must make the following settings:

In the IMG, choose Logistics Execution -> Shipping -> System Modifications -> Specify Characteristics for System Messages.

Choose "Define the message types of system messages".
      ...

      2) Function module BORWE_VL_MM_CHECK_ASN_WE

      MESSAGE E312(VLA) WITH <LFS_LIPS>-POSNR L_STR1
      INTO LF_MSGTXT.
      PERFORM MOVE_SY_MESSAGE_TO_PROTOCOL
TABLES ET_PROT USING SPACE CHANGING LF_MSG_TYPE.

Please check what form MOVE_SY_MESSAGE_TO_PROTOCOL does...

By the way, what scenario are you doing...? This error runs under the name "Confirmation of service" (see note 402482) - for me it seems it's not a simple GR (e.g.to receive goods into stock)....
