i have installed SAP NetWeaver sneak (slim) version in my laptop and now i want to start SAP MI so from where should i start it

please help me for that and suggest me appropriate documents fot that

Ritesh,

The sneak preview of the SAP NetWeaver may not have the full features. I would suggest you to install a released version of the SAP WebAS 6.40 (with SP12). SAP MI comes with the SAP WebAS 6.40. You can check out the installation guide of MI under: http://service.sap.com/instguides (login required)

Also, the SAP Help Portal (http://help.sap.com) has the MI documentation. Check it out.

well if it is sneak preview version than it will not have ABAP stack of MI.So as such MI has not been installed fully and therefore will not run .If its not preview version then you first need to install sap client and can also check of MI server with SAP gui ,transaction merep_sbuilder(if it comes).
