Segment xxxx is blocked for run xxxx - UDM_GEN_WORKLIST

Hi Guru,

Can you help me on this. We have a background job running every 30mins that updates the worklist of our AR specialist, unfortunately, our system hanged last Nov 13 and it affects our background job. The job "Worklist_1" was cancelled. I checked the job log and it says "Segment CLS0000001 is blocked for run 13083", When I checked the status, it was "STOPPED" already. I was trying to delete the Run ID 13083 but message says "Run 000000013083 is still active; release is not possible". I was not able to delete the blocked ID.

Can you suggest what other way can i delete the blocked segment that prevent our job run successfully? Please help as our Analyst worklist are not updated.

Appreciate your immediate feedback.

Thank you in advance.

Julie Ann

Have you got the authorisation rights to update the job?

You need to cancel the job, I have done this before - it is pretty simple.

      Hi Mark,

I run SU53 to check if my user has missing authorization but the result says "the last authorization check was successful".

I already encountered this scenario before and I was able to delete the job via UDM_PRMON or Monitor Parallel Run, by highlighting the Run ID that caused the segment blocking, click on "STOP" and "DELETE" and it was successful. The succeeding jobs run successfully. I was wondering why I can't do it anymore even if I do the same thing.

Would you know if I have missed any steps? Please help as our worklist is not updated.
