How to Set Up ITS and WAS.

Hi,

We have SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.7 version. We need to set up a web based communication. As of my knowledge to set up that we need WAS and ITS. What should i do to make this happend?

Please suggest or guide me to do this. Is any license issue will arise?

Welcome to SDN.

which version of WAS (Web Application Server) you are using.

also explain a bit about <b>web based communication</b>

if you want to run SAP transactions (sap gui - webgui) in a web browser then you need ITS . (if you are on WAS6.4 you dont need ITS for webgui).

if you want to use it mainly for fetching some data from SAP and report it in a browser, you can use BSP programming.

Exaplin your requirement with little more detail, we can help you out.

We have WAS 6.20. As yuo specified more we need to take reports in web browser which should be accessed internally in intranet as well externaly in internet.

Is there any help available for BSP programming? What is Enterprise Portal? Is it related to ITS? How can i check whether we have installed ITS or not?
