Suman,

Use SDM to deploy the PDK. Invoke SDM by executing the batch file /usr/sap/XXX/JC00/SDM/program/RemoteGui.

Follow the instructions on how to deploy from the following link.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2004/helpdata/en/22/a7663bb3808c1fe10000000a114084/frameset.htm

Suman,

You should use the "administrator" password to logon. Do you have your portal running?

Hope this helps.

Hi Suman,

After downloading the epa file login to the portal as System administrator then Navigate as follows:

System Administration>Transport>Import>

Now select the location of the epa file. You can either move the package to the Import directory on the server or upload it from your client by changing the selected radio buttons for the source. Once you have done that select the package and click import. Once the import is complete you need to assign the Java Developer role to one of your users. The next time they log in they will see the Java Development Role.

To assign the Java Developer role log in as administrator and navigate to:

User Administration>Roles>Search * in Users>In the list select the user you want with the developer role and click edit>In the table at the bottom right corner search Java > the role should be found, select it and click add> Save > Log out & log in as the user you assigned the role to. You should now see the Java Developer tab.

Hope this helps.

Pooja.

Hi Suman,

Pls dont get confused with Pooja's reply. Pooja is referring to the PDK business package for SP2.

You have downloaded PDK business package for SP9.You would not be able to import these from System Admin->Transport->Import, as these are not .epa files.

Make use of SDM to upload them in Portal, and then you can assign the roles to the user.

Hi Suman,

>>How to get that JavaDevelopment Tab in the portal.

Pls do what Pooja had mentioned.

>> I have par file ,How to upload.

Once you have the jave depelopment role assigned to a user, log in with that user, goto Java Development->Tools->PRT Admin Console, upload the par file by clickling on the browse button and then on upload.

Vivek

Pls reward points if helpfull.
