Notify party partner function not appearing in STO outbound deliveries

Hi All,

I have created two partner functions N1 and N2 (notify party ) and made them as non mandatory.

N1 and N2 will be in customer master and from there it will be copied to sales order and then to header delivery. In case of STO, N1 and N2 will also be  copied to header of delivery.

Accordingly N1 and N2 is configured for customer det procedure/sales order det proced and delivery header det procedure.

When N1 and N2 is there in customer master, they get copied to sales order and then to delivery.

But when creating  Cross deliveries (for STO). N1 and N2 is not getting copied to delivery header. In cross delivery, ship to party is receiving plant and we have N1 and N2 in ship to party (of receiving plant ).  If I make N1 and N2 as mandatory in config, then N1 and N2 do get copied in cross co deliveries. But we do not want to make N1, N2 mandatory in config.  So N1 and N2 does not get copied for deliveries created for STO.

What to do to copy N1 and N2 to cross STO deliveries  without making them mandatory  in config ??

regards

Pamela.

Hi Pamela,

Please, see SAP Note 459350 - FAQ: Partner determination in purchasing, question 4 and related notes. Perhaps with userexits, but be careful, read SAP Note 415716 - User exits in delivery processing in all related with XVBPA and YVBPA. See also Note 198137 - VL10: Customer-specific enhancements / user exits, but I believe there aren't options with userexits in VL10 for populating partners.

I hope this helps you

Regards

Eduardo
