Mass Release for Process Orders.

Hi All,

The question is with COR5(For Process Orders) and CO05(For Production Orders).

When we release Production Orders using CO05, system asks just for once for our confirmation(IF you want to release Orders) and then all the Production Orders are released. And for whatever issues(Like Material Parts missing, etc.) it writes a log.

While on the other hand when we use COR5, the system prompts you for every Process Order Release.

Is it possible through SPRO that COR5 will work just as CO05. I mean it will just do the mass release without prompting for every Release of the Process Order ?

Have you tried using COHVPI for Mass Processing?  It should give you a log.

Hi All,

Thanks for the reply and sorry for the delayed reply.

My concern is that, when we go for COHVPI and enter multiple Process Orders that are to be Released, system will ask for our confirmation prior to the release of every Order.

On the other hand when we use COHV for the release of Production Orders it just goes ahead and releases all the Orders.

I need COHVPI to function like COHV. Any clues over this.

Hi Avinash,

Best way if you want to have Production Order/Process Order -

1) Release as soon as it is created can be acheived by Auto Release of Production Order/Process Order in SPRO or

2) by creating a Production Schedule and maintaining in the material master.

If the process - first create and then release, for mass release you can use

For Production Order - COHV

For Process Order - COHVPI

This is useful transaction.

Hi,

For mass release of process order use COHVPI and for mass release of production order use COHV.

Or if this is ur business process to release order once created then use production scheduling profile for auto release of process order once created in SPRO.
