Error while promoting objects in SAP BO 4.0 SP04

I am getting an error while promoting objects in SAP BO 4.0 SP04, Dev to QA.

Error details: Resolution Status=Overwritten, Dependency Status=All the required dependencies are included., Commit Status=Commit attempted and failed., Promotion Status=Failure : Object Promoted. Update Failed. Error : java.lang.RuntimeException: Deployment of connection "Global_Sales_Explorer", (cuid:AchQA5jrTCFPmnebIPXUx0Y) failed.

OS - Windows 2008

DB - SQL 2008

Could any of you please help me with this error.

Hi Sunil,

Does the connection already exists in the destination? Was this connection checked in the 'Manage dependencies' option of LCM for the job that you were trying to promote?

Was it in use when you tried to perform the promotion?

Was the APS running in the source and destination when you were trying to perform the job?

Did you checked the connection "Global_Sales_Explorer"?

Is it working fine?
