BPC 7.5 NW- RUNLOGIC-BPC log

Hi,

RUNLOGIC does not generate a BPC log, is this true?

Gersh in this post http://scn.sap.com/thread/3149929 acknowledges the issue. Not sure if this is still an issue.

Hi Somar,

We have modified the RUNLOGIC BADI to correctly generate log but it also required to make an enhancement to original BPC code (very small but...). For us this approach is working.

Hi Somar,

I think it does generate the log but in the destination application. Please check it in the destination application whose logic you are triggering. There would be a log for sure.

Thanks,

Hi Sreeni,

It's possible with simple modifications of RUNLOGIC code to have all logs accumulated in one main log visible using standard interface (View status -> Details).

Hi Vadim,

That sounds great. We have just used the how-to paper as it is and understood that the log would get created in the destination application. Your idea sounds like a good enhancement to the paper.

Thanks,

Sreeni
