Polish language characters not displaying or printing after unicode conversion

Hello all,

We're having a critical problem. After a CUUC was performed (upgraded from ECC 5.0 to ECC 6.0 with unicode conversion) our users in Poland are getting "garbage" characters where the diacritical marks are supposed to be.

We are running SAP GUI 7.20 on Windows 7, and I have installed the Polish language pack via SMLT (I am the basis guy). It was supplemented with English, which is the system default language.

I have an OSS note open, and have been reading through threads and SAP Notes. CUUC was performed by third party company and they claim to have followed all post processing steps. Issue is our old pre-CUUC sandbox shows the characters fine. It also prints out correctly from sapscripts. It is non-unicode.

Has anyone seen this issue after a unicode conversion? We were not an MDMP system before the unicode.

The old non-unicode system was based on code page 1100.

Almost all of the Polish characters work. It's only about 10 of the characters that don't work. The "diacritical marks".

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated since we are having production issues with this. I posted this on the SAP GUI SCN forum since OSS had suggested it might be GUI related, but those folks pointed me in the direction of this forum to re-post.

Thanks.
