release procedure not reflected in pr

Hi All,

I have created release procedure for PR with classification , still the system is reflecting release stratergy of without classification.

As per my knowledge the system mutually activates the release procedures.

i even deleted all the entries of without classififcation, now system is not under release procedure.??

i have maintained all steps from release code to relase stratergy. in simulation it shows rel pre-req missing for code 02 and 03

i have maintained only 3 release codes.

can any one tel me why this rel proedure is stil not reflecting for PR

    Dear Preeti

Please ensure that you have carried out the following steps

1 - Creating class type of release strategy (032) with characteristics

2 - Assignment of values to class characteristics via transaction CL24N

e.g. Purchase order type, Total value

3 - Clicking on tick boxes for release prerequisities

4 - Putting appropriate release indicator for all release statuses

As you have done all customization for PR release ,just cross check during defining PR document type, did you select check box of "OvRelPRel" for your purchase requisition document type in following path( FOR PR Header Level Release):

SPRO -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Purchase Requisition -> Define Document Types

Here select check box of OvRelPRel(Overall release of purchase requisitions)all purchase requisition document types which needs to be subjected to Release Procedure and save.

Now try creating new Purchase Requisition , then have the difference!
