Hi,

While checking material availability check and goods receipting stock the follwing message pops up.

M7142- Missing part check not possible.

how to fix it please.

Thanks Krishna,

looks like it has gone through using the t.code nCO02 and MB1C alternatively. I am not sure if I will have any issues in next step.

Hi,

Basically it happens if material check is not maintained properly in OPJJ and OPJK. But as you are saying you are through, please close the thread.

Hi Krishna,

I am trying to follow you.

I have already the checking gp 04 entered in MRP3 view.

still  same error pops up.

While performing materials availability check to determine if your plant has sufficient stocks levels required to fulfill your production order (/nCO02), follwed by MB1C

Hi,

     Have you maintained the order type OPJK settings for the 2 business functions (during creation and during release). Along with this check whether the checking group is maintained in the MRP 3 view of the material master. You need to maintain a scope of check with the combination of the checking rule maintained in the OPJK and the checking group maintained in the material master. If these are maintained the system generally should not throw this msg.

Check and revert back.
