How does time series data flows form dp to snp as order series data

Hello Kalyan

It doesn't release AS order series rather it is released TO order category "FA" and thus it becomes order series after reaching SNP.

Hi Kalyan,

If data should be released from DP to SNP, the following information are required in the release profile (Transaction /SAPAPO/MC8S for background release or Transaction /SAPAPO/MC90 for foreground/adhoc release):

DP Planning Area, DP Planning Version, a Key figure whose data should be released to SNP.

SNP Target planning version, Category. This field Category specifies the category of Order type which you want in SNP.

When you release it, the product and location that you release from DP must be available in SNP APO Master data (/SAPAPO/MAT1 product location). You can release any number of key figures from DP to SNP each with different order types. Most commonly we release Forecast data from DP to SNP. So order category preferred is FA (Order = Forecast requirement).
