Please help! Getting Blank screen at Data Services on CMC

Hello guys,

I got the problem with Data Services Section appeared to be blank, so I could not manage repository from DS ....I'm using Data Services 4.0 SP1.0 Server and the CMC is from SAP BOE XI4.0 SP4 CMC..

Any of you guys happened to face this problem please give some advices. Would be very appreciated of you guys...thank you in advance..cheers! 😃

After the redeployment on Wdeploy, it still appear to be a same blank screen. ...This screen looks really like a loading screen ...Anyone got any idea about this? please help me out

The line from the KBA George mentions that you need is the one that contains:

DS 4.0 SP3

4.0 SP4 or higher SP4 compatible patches

Since you are on BIP 4.0 SP4, you must upgrade DS to 4.0 SP3.

The 'or later' reference doesn't mean all releases after that point in time.

Thanks for the advice. I thought DS4.0 the SP2 is the newest version? Do they have SP3 already?

Yes, DS 4.0 SP3 (Version 14.0.3.273) has already been released. Here is the Release Notes of the SP3:

So far the latest patch of the SP3 available on SMP is Patch1 (Version 14.0.3.353). The following is the Release Notes of DS 4.0 SP3 Patch1:

Look into the following KB Note, make sure the minimum compatible versions.

• 1740516 - SAP BusinessObjects Data Services 4.x and SAP BusinessObjects Information Steward 4.x comp...

Then try to use the wdeploy tool to re-deploy the web apps.

I found the compatibility in your referred and it said DS 4.0SP1 >>Minimum Compatibility is BIP4.0SP2 or higher...am running on the DS4 SP1 which is compatible to BIP4SP4 that I'm using right now.

and I did the redeploy of the web server on Wdeploy already and the blank page still up and I'm facing the end of the road ...anyone please help
