Hi,
Under 7.0 it has been possible for the anonymous user to switch their languge by putting the desired locale into the session
(Setting locale with the attribute "sessionLocale"
as described here:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/45/84819624956c4ee10000000a1553f7/content.htm
This does not seem to work anymore - (has no effect..)
Interesting; there is something described here for 7.3:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/en/48/bed5aa8697307ce10000000a42189b/frameset.htm
"If you have configured your portal to accept anonymous users, you can add the language personalization dropdown list to the masthead, by selecting the Show Dropdown List in Masthead: Language"
o.k. this setting isrelevant for the more or less deprecated light framework page.. I tried this out however: I got the language selector dropdown, but it didn't show any functionality.. (rather than refreshing the screen and puttting "lang=xx" as request parameter..)
Is it a bug or a (not longer supported) feature? ;-)
Greetings,
