Changing BICS connection on WebI Reports

Hi,

We have done a bunch of WebI Reports on SAP BO 4.0 environment based on BICS connection. Now we need to migrate the developed WebI Reports in DEV environment to PROD. So, what's the easiest way to change the BICS connection after migrating the reports from DEV to PROD, without repeating the process of going to "Web Intelligence Application > Data Access > Tools > Change Source" for each and every report?

Kind regards,

Rohitha

    Hi,

When you did migration, you will also transfer the olap connection of DEV server to PROD server. So If

the bex report names are same in both DEV and PROD, you can just change the configurations of olap

connection that you have migrated from DEV in PROD.So you dont have to use "Web Intelligence

Application > Data Access > Tools > Change Source" option for all reports.

    Hope it helps,

    Hi

Use the upgrade management tool to transport from DEV to PRD.
