I am wanting to create a claim for multiple batches from multiple sales orders and line items. Is there anything that is standard in EHP3 for this?
Hi,
This is possible as in EHP4 ownwards by implementing the business functions.OPS_QM_NOTIFICATION via configuration.

Matin is correct. There is new functionality called "Assigned Objects" that allows to assign multiple materials/batches under "Defect Items" in a QN.
You need to do some configuration to make the new tab available.
The disappointing thing for me with this fucntionality is that you need to populate the batch numbers manually, they do not get transfered from for example, delivery item used as a reference for QN.
Also I don't believe there is any validation in place to check that the manually entered batches are the batches that were shipped with thet delivery item.

Are you refering to a quality notification? If so, than yes, I believe that EHP3 is the version that allows you to log multiple materials and batchs in a notification. I do not believe however that it will handle multile sales order references. But I could be wrong as I can't say I've tried.

This can be answered with "it depends"...as far as I could check in the demo system you can only have one sales order at section "reference objects".
But at "Defect items" -" assigned objects" (on item level) I am able to link to more than one "sales order items" (object category). And it does not seem to be limited to the sales order I specified at header level. I am even then able to only specify a sales order without having to limit it to an item.
