UDDI Client of WAS does not connect to the any of the public UDDI Registry.

Iam trying to connect to the IBM test registry using the UDDI client of WAS

publish api-https://uddi.ibm.com/testregistry/publishapi

inquiry api-http://uddi.ibm.com/testregistry/inquiryapi

it throws an error as

Connection refused: connect.

Is there any configuration to be done on WAS for establishing the connectivity.I tried connecting to microsoft UDDI test registry and faced similar problem.

Hi,

It seems like you http proxy settings are not configured. You have to go to the Visual Administrator -> Web Services Container -> Settings tab page

Proxy settings in the visual administrator is configured. But still it doesn't connect.

Hi,

Is it the same problem: Connection refused?

If so, I would propose that you open an OSS message and open also a customer connection, so that the support can check why the proxy does not resolve uddi.ibm.com host name.
