path flow to higher offcials

Hey Experts,

consider a scenario as follows,

An employee types in some data in screen1 and stores in table1 and the data is viewed and must be approved by his higher official, like manager etc.The thing is the employee need to send/notify the table1 data to the higher official and view it in another screen or same screen with an APPROVE/REJECT option..When the approve/reject is done by the higher official it must be notified to the respective employee.

I want to know how to set the PATH FLOW in between an organisation's hierarchy .

that is an developer sends some data to higher official say like team-leader,and that must be notified to and approved by the Team-leader,similarly the Team leader creates data and sends to the section Manager etc etc

    Hi,

    From table HRP1001

    • For a US user name, determine the personnel number (PERNR) P.
    • Then for that person or personnel number you need to identify, what is the position(S) he is holding A/B 008.
    • For the determined position find the object type with relation REPORTS to A/B 012.

    Regards

    Pavan

    Hello Marnush Khan !

If organizational hierarchy is maintained, using the rule AC00000168, manager of an employee can be determined.

If no organization hierarchy is maintained, ask your functional consultant about how to identify a higher official of an employee. Then develop a rule or method and fulfill the requirement.

    Regards,

    S.Suresh.

      Hi,khan...
I can't quite figure out exactly what you're looking for.
as u said u have all the details in table-1,also capture the approval path in the same table,
as now it has the sequence for the approval,

when the employee enters all the details in screen-1 (including the approval sequence) and saves it,it should be saved in table-1 and table-2(create a transparent table like table-1).
now move this table according to the sequence in the table,
move on till the sequence ends.

      Regards **Askar**
