Relate MIGO with QA32

Hi Experts,

I would like to have a track of goods receipts for quality inspection materials by noticing it with a common text field between MIGO and QA32.

Is there any field in MIGO screen where I can enter my text , and that is visible in the screen layout fields in QA32?

If not are there other ways of adding texts fields in MIGO that reflect in QA32 screen?

Suggestions are rewarded.

hi,

in Stdn SAP , for tracking point of view material document number is there, if u want u may activate worflow where ur define text will float form MM to QM. but what is ur exact requirement first u elobrate ? means u first elobrate what exactly u want through this and what is the use of it in ur scenario.

My requirement is to mention in any field in MIGO for goods receipt as an indicator that it is a quality inspection material, so that when i see the layout of QA32 it is visible or displayed in the layout fields.

Hi Kumar,

1. If the material is quality inspection material then  you have to activate inpection type in material master and by default , inspection ot will be generated. hence no need to mention seperately whether it is quality inspected material or not. if the material is not quality inspected material then dont activate inspection types.

2. in qa32 screen you can change layout and can see GR number ( doccument type) for particular inspection lot. hence there is link between inspection type and GR i.e doccument number ( GR Number) generated after posting goods receipt. Hence no need to seperate text link between two.

I strongly advice that you take a look on the quality management concept of SAP, especially the inspection for goods receipt materials. Check the quality view in material master and its role in the process.

Hi

You can use tcode MB03 or MB51 where you can see the document number + movement type detail.

For text you have to indivually check the document number other wise there is no standard report to see the mentioned text.

Hi Kumar,

     There is no such common filed between the MIGO and QA32, you have to develop a Z report to relate the MIGO fields and QA32 fields. One more thing is the system is giving the material document no. in QA32, which itself is a good link. Any way your requirement is not possible in std SAP.

You already have a track of GRs that cause a quality inspection by checking your inspection lots. I do not understand why you would want to pass information from a text field in GR to quality? What is your requirement here?
