Default Client in Hana.

How does a default client know it has to filter field MANDT. To be more specific for analytic view using sflight.sbook from Hana development guide, when we set the default client property to 800, How does the view know it has to filter the field MANDT, why does it not filter some other field for example AgencyNum.

Thanks

Anil

    Hi Anil,

That is because the default client property has been specifically designed & developed for modelling of client-dependent SAP tables that will have MANDT as the key. The document here suggests that it works for both MANDT and CLIENT.

    Thanks,
