SAP B1 hangs once updating the Employee master Data

Hi Experts,

i am here with an problem, i am editing my employee master data for a particular employee and while updating, SAP hangs and it locks the other SQL process and other users cant able to login.

SELECT T0.* FROM [ dbo ].[CHEN] T0 ORDER BY T0.Component

After Killing the process system comes normal
