CAT2 - How to get Administrator access to control visibility of columns on time sheet

Hello again,

Our company had most of the CAT2 configuration done by a consultant and now it's my responsibliltiy to maintain and improve upon the existing implementation.   In my quest to expand upon the basics, I've received requests to add a free form field to the CAT2 time sheet for a specific data entry profile.  I've found the configuration (CAC1 and CAC2) that controls the use of existing columns/fields and been in the sandbox trying to configure the use of the CATS_ADDFI-FIELD1 field and add it to the time sheet.  I've managed to alter the data entry profile by going into the Influencing function and change the radio button from Hide to Input.  Did this for Worklist and Data Entry Section.  When I go to the CAT2 timesheet, the field does not display.

I did find some posts about going to the CAT2 transaction, and locate the Configuration icon in the right corner of the actual time sheet, and open up the Table Settings window.  However, I do not have the Administrator button available and based on what I've read, I will need to see if the new field is set to Invisible.

So, my question is, what security or setting do I require to make the administrator button available in the table settings?  I have full access to the IMG, so not sure what to tell my Security guys to set up for me to have that access.

Many thanks,

Garrett

Ok, I think I discovered that I require the S_ADMI_FCD authorization object added to my role.  Adding this object, along with adding the DBA and TCTR open authrozations, gave me the access to use the Adminstrator button in table settings and check and uncheck the invisible check box.  Unfortunately, the field (CATS_ADDFI-FIELD1) is still not appearing on my CAT2 timesheet.

I've searched for specifically which open authorizations I would need under the S_ADMI_FCD authorization object in order to make/keep the changes I've made in the table settings and I cannot find anything.

Anyone know which functions/authorizations under S_ADMI_FCD I would need to maintain these CAT2 field settings?

Thanks,

Garrett
