WDA MSS Leave Approval - Only Header Shown

Hi,

We have a problem with the WDA MSS Leave Approval iView.  We tested with an employee requesting an absence in ESS.  That goes to the UWL of the manager.  When the manager clicks on the workitem in UWL, a new window appears but only with blank header and the 'Close' button and nothing else.  The same iView works correctly in preview mode.

We checked this site and found a similar problem reported http://scn.sap.com/thread/2140310 but that was solved by installing MSS Addon 1.0.

We are already using MSS Addon 1.0 patch 1.  The XML file com.sap.pct.erp.mss.addon.xml was modified according to note 1600953 and uploaded correctly without errors.  The UWL cache was cleared and then re-registered.

The backend configuration has the following:

APPLICATION:     HRESS_A_PTARQ_LEAVREQ_APPL

DYNPARAM:        LRF_REQUEST_ID=${item.REQUESTID}

NAMESPACE:      sap

SYSTEM_ALIAS:  SAP_ERP_HumanResources

Both employee and manager are in the same grouping absence-wise, so no issues with the manager not being able to see the absences for approval.

Any ideas?

Hello,

Did you ever get this resolved?  Try when the new window opens, to right click and get the properties and double check the URL.  Do you see any null parameters in the URL call?  Also check to ensure

that the URL is the correct host, etc... Do you see any additional errors in the trace on the UI, etc?
