0CO_PC_01 datasource issue

Former Member

Hello,

I am using the datasource 0CO_PC_01 to fetch actual cost of production data. I need the Partner InfoObject (POBJTYPE) and Characteristic Value of a Partner InfoObject (PARTOBJ) fields to find the Cost Component for each Cost Element (can't do a direct lookup on TCKH2 because each Cost Element is mapped to multiple Cost Components).

However I find that I have quite a few records for which the "Partner Infoobject" and "Char Value of Partner Infoobject" are blank. I checked the source tables COSS and COSP but I am not sure how the data is fetched. There doesn't seem to be any difference between these records and the other ones which have both fields populated.

Can anyone help me out here please? Is there some underlying functional logic that is causing this?

Regards,

Sreenadh

Hi,

Try this,

To know the logic use 'where used list' option on the extract structure.

What about data in the fields(Partner Infoobject and its characteristic) in RSA3. And also check the data in PSA.

If the data is populating from master tables for these fields then make sure that the data is activated.

Anand.

Hello Anand,

I am sorry. I should have mentioned that I was checking in RSA3. I haven't extracted data to BI yet.

I did some digging and I think these fields are being populated from COSP. In COSP, for the PRORDERs and Cost Elements which have blank Partner Infoobject and characterisitic in RSA3, the field CO subkey is blank.

I am thinking the reason for me getting blank Partner Infoobject is because this CO subkey field is not populated in COSP. However, I don't know why the field is not getting populated. Any clue why?

Thanks,

Sreenadh
