equipment enhancement, screen connection missing

i needed a new tab (additional data 2) on equipment master (IE01/IE02/IE03) with some fields and i successfully did some of the below steps,i need help with steps in red highlight

1. Creating a Project to include the enhancement (complete)

2. Creating Custom Include for EQUI with the new fields (complete)

3. Develop the subscreen and the program eg: new subscreen 1010 (complete)

4. Write code in the Function Exits to synchronize the programs (complete)

5. Complete the configuration to link the subscreen ( problem)

how do i define the layout for each equipment category ? config

how do i modify existing layout for a specific category with adding newly created tab additional data 2 ? config

how do i define the new sequence no to be used below in the screen group ? config

6. Determine the Layout: config

To achieve this, In SPRO Go to Plant Maintenance & Customer Service->technical Objects->General Data->Set view profiles for Technical Objects

Select the Screen Group Equipment Data   and click on folder ‘Activity and Layout of views’. Add an entry for your newly created fields. For E.g.

Num: 100

Desc: Additional Data 2

Tab active: X

Seq no: 160  in respective fields and save

please advise me on the steps i have to do for subscreen linking to main and also layout determination

I'm assuming you used user-exit ITOB0001 (PM: Customer include subscreen for techn. obj. master data)??

If so, then go to SMOD and read the documentation for this user-exit.

thanks for the reply

i saw this documentation for the enhancement before and i used it to do the development, now the subscreen 1010 is created but the question is more about

1.should there be a layout/screen group definition for each equipment category, saying these tabs/fields should be displayed for this category, if so where do i see that

2. how do i modifying the layout/screen group to add the new tab i created, all i have is a new subscreen no 1010

Did you assign sub-screen 150 in the View Profile in the IMG (Set View Profiles for Technical Objects)?

i am doing the error analysis and some one else before me did the development and left us

i have below 2 records in my F4 help for sequence no for H2 screen group in dev client

150 -  user data

160 - additional data 2

and i dont have 160 - additional data 2 in quality

i understand that he created a new entry 100 - additional data 2 - X - 160 in development as in the picture you attached and the whole object is transported to quality and now we cant see that entry in quality

my question is how is 160 - additional data 2, entry as sequence no for H2 screen group created in dev client and how can we transport that to quality

please see the attached screen shots of dev and quality to see the difference in the sequence no list in H2 screen group

is the sequence no created in H2 screen group, if so where

you see the view profile "standard" in the top, how is this created and how can i change this profile

my concern was is if this sequence no is created in dev and not transported or if its deleted in quality

why did some one created this "160 additional data 2" in sequence no and how is it connected to the enhancement done
