I have a report which connects to a DB2 table. I want to use "Set Location" to swap to the counterpart in Postgress database.

However, the button is greyed out.

I am able to swap table in same db2 system in any locations.

Is it possible to "Set Location" to another database?  I'd like to know whether absolutely impossible or there is a way to do so.

Please let me know.  Thank you.

Hi Takashi,

In the Set Location UI you select the Progress ODBC DSN and then expand the tables in the top window and then expand the tables in the bottom window. Now click on the old table and then click on the new table and the update button should now be enabled.

Do this for each table, if there are issues with being able to map the fields then a mapping box should pop up, check of the same type option so you see all of the fields.

Be sure to click on the Linking tab also to verify the join types are correct.

This should be possible - at least to attempt it. If it is not possible, you'd get errors / warnings, but the button should not be grayed out...

What version of CR are you working with (include updates)?
