change of text in delivery note not possible

Hello experts,

can you please advise where can I find customizing for enabling item text change in completed outbound delivery? I mean delivery is in status "C" and already invoice, but change of Material sales text on item level is greyed. I checked VOTXN but there is nothing related to this issue..

Dear Pavel

As per my knowledge this used to happen before ECC 6.0, but for your information please sit with your BASIS Consultant and check weather Note 1565880 is implemented or not, with Him/Her see what coding and packs have been made to your system and if its really necessary to change text after PGI+Billing try to modify the programs/corrections made by 1565880. Please raise OSS to SAP or review note 170183.

As I have understand that you want to change the Material Sales Text in Delivery where the Invoiced already done.Right? And it is Grayed?

Though normally it is editable,anyway's just Double Click on the desired text area (Right hand side where we write the text) it will open the Text Editor there you can change the existing text or add something new.

Hi Pavel ,

You should able to edit the line item text of the delivery even it is invoiced. Check again in VL02N. Please check whether you are using any user-exit to control it.

Moreover on business context, let us know why you want to edit the text once it is delivered and invoiced.
