User Prompt Option for Preprocess BADI

Hi,

I have to create user prompt option for Preprocess BADI. Please explain me how to do that. My BPC version is 7.5.

I know how to do this for DataManager Package.

But I have to create prompts for dimensions and also as text for Preprcosess BADI.

Is there any option to do this?

Hi Suresh,

Any prompt has to be captured in DM package, This needs to be, then, transferred to the script logic and then to the BADI.

Hi,

Mainly I have to send the data at parent level. so I need to do it in pre process BADI.

At the mean time I would like make some dimension as user friendly which will use to retrive transaction data and to hardcode in output record in BADI.

Please give me some idea if you can.

Hi Suresh,

I am still not very clear on the logic part of it. However, based on your question, I will still say that any dynamic selection have to flow from DM package. Anything that is fixed can be hard coded in the script or in BADI.

Hi Nilanjan,

I come to know Prompt option is not possible for Pre process BADI.

So for my project, I created the pre process BADI to save original record and create new default logic BADI for user prompts which is called through data manager package.
