Packaging Material as line item in the delivery.

All,

When I create a Sales Order and from there a Delivery, I want to have the Packaging Material as line item in the delivery to calculate the weight of the the delivery.

There is a note ( German: Hinweis 831204 -Lieferpositionen für Packmittel) and also 1452388 Packing in a delivery creates a new line item.

I have customised the system according to 831204:

Define Item Category Determination in Deliveries

Define Packaging Material Types

and adjusted the Material Master

As soon as I pack, it creates a new line item in the delivery, so that works.

ONLY, it doesn't fill the weight field, so no calculation of the total weight can take place.

The weight is set in the Material Master of the packaging material.

Any suggestion to solve this is most welcome.

you mean weight calculation when delivery line item is packed with packing material right ?
