Jco Destination Problem

I had created a Jco Destination when I test it I get the following:

com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (102) RFC_ERROR_COMMUNICATION: Connect to SAP gateway failed Connect_PM TYPE=A ASHOST=r3qa2 SYSNR=00 GWHOST=r3qa2 GWSERV=sapgw00 PCS=1 LOCATION CPIC (TCP/IP) on local host ERROR partner not reached (host r3qa2, service sapgw00) TIME Fri Jul 22 15:24:14 2005 RELEASE 640 COMPONENT NI (network interface) VERSION 37 RC -10 MODULE

What be can this?

Check whether you are able to login to the SAP system using the SAP GUI?

hi Ruben,

This error may be due to the reason that your sld is not configured

You have to set the service name in the path as shown below

c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\services file.

Make sure that the service name and port no are correctly copied there

It should be in the format

sapms<SID> 3600/tcp
